On-going Therapy
Ongoing therapy is usually long term, unlimited and open-ended sessions. It means:
- Each session is 50 minutes length.
- The sessions are regular; we agree a weekly day and time to meet regularly.
- The ending in ongoing therapy comes when the time feels right.
- The session is usually for six months and my run in the numbers of years.
In ongoing therapy, there is a lots of area for exploring where the process takes us. You may or may not have a focus area when you are starting the journey of therapy, however, the process of self exploration will be the focus in general. More explicit focus will be problems with relationship, attachment and intimacy, chaotic childhood, unresolved traumatic experiences that continue to influence your present days life or activities. The process involves untangling the complexity of chaotic past, which can be time to process and explore.
Certain behaviour and emotions patterns become deeply ingrained over time, becoming noticeable to those who have know you for an extended period. Building trust and a strong therapeutic relationship takes time, especially when it comes to addressing and confronting the deep-seated wounds and concealed pain what you have carried for so long.
Indeed, ongoing therapy provides a dedicated and consistent space in both time and physically, where you received support in embracing your authentic self, uncovering profound insights, and implementing appreciate changes. In the hustle and bustle of today's world, the presence of a trusted and secure haven has become scare and often neglected. The space with free from judgement, pressure, and expectation, serves a space for genuine self-exploration and navigating the depths of your own being.
