Creating a Safe Space for Both of You
taken by myself
Relationships can be deeply fulfilling, but they can also be a place of tension, misunderstanding, and emotional pain. In couple therapy, my role is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where each partner can feel heard and understood.
In our first session, we will explore what each of you hopes to gain from therapy. These hopes may differ, and part of the work is to begin to understand those differences and find a shared direction. Often, an early focus is on communication - supporting you to speak more openly, listen with greater awareness, and begin to understand one another's experience more fully.
